Cresthaven Condo Community lost our eldest member, Wally Joseph
Kusenko at 98 years old. Wally was a proud World War II
Veteran, a BRONZE STAR recipient, and extremely proud of his
service to our country. He once stated he felt like a General. He
was our General in West Palm Beach. Wally, in his "dressed up
scooter proudly having attached the American Flag to it"
managed to scooter all around the West Palm Beach area. His best
friend, Charlie Snyder stated many store owners and local people
recognized him and would chat with him. He became a community
celebrity. There was a time when his Scooter broke down, and the
local police escorted him home. Wally was friendly, eccentric, and
a bit comical in a friendly way. You couldn't miss him riding
around in his dressed up scooter. Rest in Peace General Wally you
will be missed.
