(10-22-20)

Hi Everyone – I’m happy to report that our community is slowly coming back to life. I see some of our winter residents arriving and that’s a good sign. As with everywhere we go, masks will be needed.

Starting in November a few more activities have been added!! Yoga will begin on November 2nd at the West Clubhouse. It’s limited to 12-14 people and will be held poolside.

Bingo will start November 9th. We believe that we will have enough people and sales will end at 7pm. Free movie night will start on November 4th at 7:30pm.

The pool is now open to all and the gates close at 11pm. The Library is open only one day a week and that is Wednesday from 1-3pm. The tennis court is only open to 4 people. Sorry at this time the exercise room has not be reopened.

Until next time, I look forward to seeing you at the library or the pool. Stay safe!!

Hi Everyone – Wow, life has certainly changed. Hopefully everyone that is still here at the Community is faring well and staying safe.

Most activities are closed, but thankfully for me (because I like the pool), the pool is open to unit owners each day until 8pm. There are no guests allowed, which means even a family member visiting cannot use the pool. The tennis court is open but only 4 people playing at any one time.

My other favorite place is the Library. We have opened it up one day a week. That is Wednesday from 1-3pm. Only two people at a time are allowed to browse at any one time. Masks are required. FYI – the books are wiped down as they are returned. We are still ordering new books, so come in and see what’s new.

That’s about it, everything else is closed in the community. Until next time, call your friends and family to stay in touch.

March Madness 2014

First Annual International Bocce -- America vs Canada

It was March Madness that took over VRG, but it wasn’t basketball. The Bocce court has been a beehive of activity. A couple of weeks ago it was the women versus the men, then the first International event – America versus Canada and then Building 14 versus Building 9! If it wasn’t a game happening, then the participants were there practicing. Here’s the result: The men beat the women, America won against Canada and Building 9 defeated Building 14.

Lots of good times were had by all!

Bocce Babes and Guys 2nd annual match:

Guys - 9 games; Babes - 5 games.

So that's one for the women and one for the men.

Next season — The Rubber Match!
